體型特徵:瘦人居多
常見表現:平素面色晦暗,皮膚偏暗或色素沉著,容易出現瘀斑、易患疼痛,口唇暗淡或紫,舌質暗有點、片狀瘀斑,舌下靜脈曲張,脈象細澀或結代,眼眶暗黑,鼻部暗滯,發易脫落,肌膚乾,女性多見痛經、閉經、或經血中多凝血塊、或經色紫黑有塊、崩漏、或有出血傾向、吐血
心理特徵:心情易煩,急躁健忘
發病傾向:易患癥瘕、中風、痛証、血証等病
離開經脈的血液不能及時排出和消散,停留在體內,或當血液運行不暢,瘀積於經脈或臟腑組織器官之內的均稱為瘀血。由瘀血內阻而引起的病證,稱為血瘀證。《黃帝內經‧靈樞‧生氣通天論》:「太陰之人,多陰之人,多陰而無陽,其陰血濁,其氣澀以遲。」血瘀體質有氣血凝滯,瘀濁不暢的特點,中醫學引起血瘀的原因有寒凝、氣滯、氣虛、外傷等。
養生法:活血化瘀
宜多吃行氣、活血食物,黑豆、黑木耳,蘿蔔、柚子、蔥蒜、山楂、枸杞、龍眼、海參等
可適量飲用紅酒、白酒、黃酒(擴張血管,改善血液循環)。
多喝水,血液中水份減少會導致血粘度增高,血行緩慢。
少吃肥肉(血脂增高,阻塞血管),少鹽飲食(血黏度增高),不吃寒涼食物(影響氣血運行)。
適量低強度運動,運動量因人而異,達到微微汗出即可,運動可以增加氣血流通,充分推動血液在全身運行,使經絡臟腑氣血調和。但血瘀人士心血管功能較差,不適合高強度運動。
防寒保暖,「血得熱則行,得寒則凝」,避免飲食生冷,工作、居住環境避免太冷,由期夏天勿開太大冷氣,讓身體保持和暖。
不要熬夜,熬夜傷陰耗精,血同屬陰液,長久會加重血瘀狀態。
按摩
按摩可以令血液流通暢順。
搓手。兩手掌用力對搓,由慢漸快至手心熱。
梳頭。十指微屈以指尖接觸頭皮,由前額至腦後、顳至頭頂,疏20次。
揉腹。四指併攏,由胃脘部開始,繞臍順時針方向擦揉。
搓腰。用手掌按緊腰部,用力由上向下搓到腰骶,兩側同時搓20次。
可揉按血海,太沖,三陰交穴 (血海-大腿內側,髕底內側端上2寸 ,太沖-大拇趾和第二趾的指縫之間隙的後方凹陷,三陰交-小腿內側,足內踝尖上3寸)
刮痧,可選取大椎,膀胱經心腧至肝腧。
當歸田七烏雞湯
烏雞性平、味甘,具有滋陰清熱、補肝益腎、健脾止瀉等作用。當歸補血活血、潤腸通便。田七化瘀止血,活血定痛。
烏雞一隻,當歸15克,田七5克,生姜2片
將烏雞放入炖盅,再加入當歸田七生姜,加入清水和少量鹽,隔水蒸3小時。
注意,感冒、消化功能差、陰虛火旺體質不適合食用。
山楂
山楂性溫能通行氣息、活血祛瘀止痛、消食化積。
山楂煮紅糖:山楂去核打碎加水煮20分鐘,調以紅糖。
山楂綠茶:山楂加水煮5分鐘,加入綠茶。待冷後加人蜂蜜。
Body physique: thin
Common traits: dull face complexion; dark and dull skin; frequent bruises end pain; dark or purple lips; dark tongue with dotter or sliced bruise; varicose veins under tongue; thready, tight, hurried and Regularly Intermittent pulse (Xi Mai, Jie Mai, Ji Mai, Dai Mai); dark eye socket and nose; hair loss; dry skin; painful, absent menstruation, blood clots, dark purple blood with blood clot, uterine menstruation; bleeding and blood vomiting.
Personality traits: irritable, impatient, and forgetful.
Tendency of illness: abdominal mass, stroke, gout and bleeding
Blood statis is formed when blood that has left the meridian was not released and dissipated in time, or when blood circulation is not smooth and blood stagnates in meridian or the internal organs. Illnesses caused by blood stasis is called blood stasis syndrome.
In the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor, it is mentioned that:
「太陰之人,多陰之人,多陰而無陽,其陰血濁,其氣澀以遲。」
“Major yin type persons have plenty of yin and they lack yang [qi]. The yin [qi], the blood, are turbid. [The flow of ] their guard qi is rough.”
People with blood stasis body constitution has Qi and blood stagnation, mainly caused by accumulation of cold pathogens, Qi stagnation, Qi deficiency, and injury.
Health regiment: Promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis
Eat more Qi and blood invigorating food, such as black turtle bean, wood ear, carrot, yuzu, spring onion and garlic, Chinese haw, wolfberry, longan, sea cucumber.
Can drink red wine, white wine, and Huangjiu moderately, which helps widen blood vessels and improve blood circulation.
Drink water frequently. Insufficient water in body will increases viscosity of blood, tampering its circulation.
Eat less fat meat, which increases blood lipid and blocks blood vessels. Have less salt in diet, which increases blood viscosity. Avoid cold natured food, which also hiders blood circulation.
Do moderate exercise according to body condition. Slight sweating is sufficient. Exercise helps increase blood flow, improves blood circulation in the body, and regulates qi and blood in the internal organs. However, people with blood stasis body constitution has a weak cardiovascular system, so intense exercise should be avoided.
Stay warm during cold weather. “Blood moves with warmness and stagnates with coldness.” Avoid cold food and drinks, cold living or working environment. Do not turn the temperature of air conditioning too low during summer time and keep the body warm.
Do not stay up late, as it depletes Yin and essence. Blood is also a Yin fluid, so staying up late for a prolonged period will aggravate blood stasis.
Massage
Massage helps improve circulation of blood.
Hand massage. Rub palm of hands together with moderate force, from slow to fast until warm.
Head massage. Use fingertips to massage head from forehead to back of head, from side to top, in a combing motion. Massage 20times.
Stomach massage. Hold four fingers together and rub stomach around the navel starting from Zhongwan (4 inch above navel) in a clockwise motion.
Waist massage. Use palm to massage upwards and downwards from waits to hip for 20 times.
Soft massage to Xuehai, Taichong and Sanyinjiao is also recommended. (Xuehai - inside of thighs, 2 inch above base of patella, Taichong – at the crescent behind the gap between big and second toe, Sanyinjiao - 3 inch above medial malleolus)
Gua Sha can be done on Dazhui, bladder meridian, from Xinxue to Ganyu.
Dong quai, Tianqi ginseng and silkie soup
Silkie is neutral natured, sweet, and helps nourishing yin and clearing heat, invigorate the liver and the kidney, as well as invigorate the spleen to arrest diarrhea. Dong quai helps nourish blood and invigorate its circulation, as well as strengthen the liver to relieve constipation. Tianqi ginseng removes blood stasis and stops bleeding, as well as invigorating blood circulation and alleviating pains.
One silkie, 15g Dong guai, 5g Tianqi ginseng, 2 slices of raw ginger
Put silkie into stew, add the ingredients and add water and little salt. Steam for 3 hours.
Not suitable for people with cold, or people with indigestion, Yin deficient heat prevalent body.
Chinese Haw
Chinese haw is warm natured and helps circulation of qi, invigorate blood and remove blood stasis, as well as help digestion.
Brown sugar Chinese haw treat: deseed Chinese haw, break into pieces and simmer with water for 20 minutes. Add brown sugar and then serve.
Chinese Haw green tea: simmer Chinese haw for 5 minutes, add green tea. Add honey after cooling.
